Cheaper alternatives are the H670 and B660 (socket LGA 1700, Intel Alder Lake 12th Gen CPUs) – these chipsets are the best choice for the average user.įor AMD, AM4 socket supports A520, B550 and X570 chipsets: the main differences concern the number of SATA and USB 3.2 ports, PCI-e 4.0 lanes, with X570 having the best multi-GPU, overclock and PCI Express 4.0 support. It is worth to choose the top models only if you require the features they offer. Moreover, unlike in the past, you do not need high-end motherboards to have good results in overclocking, so our suggestion remains a midrange Z690 model. It is recommended only to those who overclocks or is interested in having a top tier hardware. The top end Intel chipset is the Z790 (socket LGA 1700, Intel Raptor Lake 13th Gen CPUs) – is the best of the best, but it is relatively expensive as it supports DDR5 memory and PCI-Express 5.0. The second priority is the motherboard chipset. AMD sockets are: AM4 and AM5 (for Ryzen CPUs), TR4 / TRX40 / sWRX8 socket (for Threadripper CPUs). Intel has the LGA1151, LGA1200 and LGA1700 sockets. Our children, employees, and customers are very much a part of Seven Slot Grille. When picking a motherboard, your first priority is to make sure it has the right socket to match the CPU. We both worked as kids, and believe it may have helped us become the hard-working, driven people we are today.

We are proud of the quality, portion size, and (most importantly) our dedication to the "family dining experience". Seven Slot Grille has made many changes since it opened in 2008 and we plan to continue to grow and make it the best dining experience we can for you. The Seven Slot Grille opened January 21, 2008, has also been known as "Nu Star", "Tall Moose Cafe", Recipe", "Coffee Haus", and "Renee's", which gives this location over 45 years as a family-owned and operated restaurant. Our restaurant features home-cooked meals, homemade soups, and even our own home-baked breads (Raisin, Whole Wheat, White, Rye, Sourdough, Sub Buns, Hamburger Buns, Dinner Rolls, Bagels, and Biscuits)! We make our own BBQ Sauce, Honey Mustard, Cole Slaw, and Marinades, with no corn syrup used as preservatives or sweeteners! We have weekly lunch and breakfast specials! The Seven Slot Grille is owned by Doug and Christy Wallace.
